Holistic Mind-Body Approach &
Modalities
Explore the modalities that support my holistic mind-body approach – including eating psychology, RTT® hypnotherapy and energy medicine coaching (innerwise®).
Real and lasting change happens when we support the whole self – mind, body, and energy – by addressing the deeper patterns beneath the surface. These subtle, often unconscious patterns quietly influence how we eat, digest, think, feel, and move through life.
This holistic mind–body approach draws on on complementary perspectives such as holistic nutrition, functional nutrition, mind-body nutrition and eating psychology coaching, and energy medicine coaching. Each offers a unique lens for understanding how subconscious patterns, energy, and physiology interact to shape overall wellbeing.
This page provides an overview of the approaches and modalities I draw from, and how they come together to support inside-out transformation and a more aligned way of living.
While these modalities inform my work, sessions are not limited by rigid protocols. When structure is needed, we use it, and when intuition leads, we follow it. Each session adapts to what your mind, body, and energy need in that moment.
What is an “inside out” approach to holistic health and wellness?
Our mind, body, heart, and soul are intrinsically connected and affect one another via the mind-body connection.
Mastering the power of your mind is crucial for health and wellbeing on all levels and for your ability to manifest what you truly desire in life. The workings of the subconscious mind can explain it:
Only about 5% of your daily thoughts and actions come from conscious decision-making, which means about 95% are directed by your subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind holds all beliefs and thoughts about yourself since early childhood. This can include limiting thoughts and beliefs and negative emotions such as fear, anger, shame and guilt that were installed and stored after experiencing emotional hurt and trauma – small or big – that you couldn’t process or cope with at the time.
Today, these outdated unconscious thinking patterns and beliefs are still the foundation for your direction in life – if left unchecked.
Conflicting thoughts arise if they don’t match and align with your conscious thinking and desires today.
Your unconscious thoughts and beliefs are the real root causes that keep you stuck, struggling and unable to change your unwanted habits and behaviours.

What is Holistic Nutrition?
Holistic Nutrition is about eating healthy whole food, preferably organic and locally grown, that provides the body with ample amounts of nutrients.
It acknowledges that we are all biochemically unique and that no single way of eating is perfect for everyone.
It supports the principle “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”, as once stated by Hippocrates.
Holistic Nutrition looks at every individual with a “whole-person” approach. It does not stop with looking at the food itself but takes the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of the eater into account, as well.
Thus, Holistic Nutrition goes beyond the pure application of dietetics and nutritional facts and includes all aspects that nourish the body, mind, heart, and soul.
What is Functional Nutrition?
Functional Nutrition is a science-based nutrition lens that explores how various systems in the body – including digestion, hormones, inflammation, stress, and the nervous system – interact and influence overall wellbeing.
Rather than relying on fixed dietary rules or one-size-fits-all guidelines, it focuses on identifying and addressing root causes of imbalance.
This perspective helps reveal what may be happening beneath the surface, highlighting how food, biochemistry, and lifestyle factors work together to support optimal health and vitality.
What is Mind-Body Nutrition?
Mind-Body Nutrition is a timely new field founded by Marc David, founder of the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.
This field examines the far-reaching effects of clinical nutrition by looking at the psychophysiology, too: Mind-Body Nutrition explores how our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs influence how our bodies process food and affect our overall health.
It extends beyond traditional nutrition by connecting the brain, body, and behaviour via the mind-body connection. This approach highlights how factors like stress, relaxation, breathing, awareness, enjoyment, and meal timing impact digestion and our metabolic power.
In addition, it provides practical strategies for addressing common eating challenges and health issues that we face today.
What is Dynamic Eating Psychology?
Dynamic Eating Psychology is an important new field that originated with Marc David, founder of the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.
It’s a positive, empowering and transformational approach designed for anyone who eats. Each of us has a unique, fascinating, and continually evolving relationship with food.
Dynamic Eating Psychology affirms the primary importance of this relationship. Previously, eating psychology has been limited to those with clinical eating disorders.
Dynamic Eating Psychology, though, is for everyone. It affirms that our relationship with food has important lessons to teach us if we choose to listen.
Moreover, it recognises that our eating, weight and health challenges are intimately connected to other primary life dimensions – relationship, family, work, sexuality, search for meaning and fulfillment, and so much more. It is a powerful breakthrough approach.
What is Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) and how is it different?
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) is a powerful therapeutic method that combines evidence-based techniques from psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, gestalt, and mindfulness. It helps people create lasting positive change by accessing and rewiring the subconscious mind.
RTT® is a personalised approach that helps you identify and transform the root causes of unwanted emotional patterns, limiting beliefs, and old mental programming, many of which were formed in early childhood. Instead of focusing only on positive reinforcement, RTT® goes deeper to uncover when, where, and why a specific issue began, so it can be released at the source.
Using the science of neuroplasticity, RTT® enables the brain to build new thought pathways that reflect your current goals and values – freeing you from outdated beliefs and allowing you to move forward with clarity, confidence, and a growth mindset.
RTT® has helped people worldwide to overcome challenges such as:
- Depression
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Fears
- Confidence issues
- Procrastination
- Weight and eating challenges
- Sleep issues
- Phobias
- Infertility
- Addictions and Depression
How is RTT® different from NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-Programming)?
NLP works with the conscious mind to shift patterns of thinking and behaviour through language and reframing. It’s a valuable tool for enhancing performance and communication.
RTT®, on the other hand, works directly with the subconscious mind – where many of our deepest patterns are stored.
By using hypnosis as a natural gateway, RTT® accesses the root causes of emotional blocks and limiting beliefs, then rewires them through understanding, regression, and transformation.
This deeper access allows for faster, more permanent results- especially when long-standing patterns or unresolved emotional experiences are involved.
RTT® can be integrated into your personalised coaching process – and only when it feels aligned and supportive for you.
Rapid Transformational Therapy® was founded by Marisa Peer, a pioneering British hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and motivational speaker.
Rapid Transformational Therapy®️ (RTT®️) and Training programs are accredited by: General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), International Association of Counsellors and Therapists (IACT), International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT), International Hypnosis Federation (IHF), Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH), New Zealand Association of Professional Hypnotherapists (NZAPH), International Coaches Register (ICR), International Hypnosis Association (IHA), and more.
What is innerwise®?
innerwise® is a holistic healing and coaching system founded by MD Uwe Albrecht. It recognises the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit and emphasises the importance of balance and harmony for overall health and wellbeing.
innerwise® combines various therapeutic methods, energy medicine, and consciousness work to support individuals in their healing and personal development journey. It aims to identify and address underlying energetic imbalances that may contribute to physical, mental or emotional issues.
When the natural flow of energy becomes impaired, our self-healing abilities decline, and our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing suffers.
About 95% of our daily thoughts and decision-making are based on our subconscious. Therefore, negative thinking patterns, limiting beliefs and unprocessed emotional trauma have a significant impact on our experience of life.
How does innerwise® work?
Using the arm-length test, a neurological muscle reflex, innerwise® taps directly into the unconscious mind.
Guided by the healing system’s intelligence, innerwise® offers tools and frequency-based remedies that clear up the energetic blocks and irritations that cause imbalances and stress.
Once the energy pathways are open, transformation takes place. The body’s self-regulation and self-healing abilities become activated. The mind-body system returns to its natural state of harmony, balance and equilibrium.
Coaching with innerwise® does not put your symptoms in focus but strengthens your innate potential by increasing energy flow. innerwise® is designed to empower individuals to take an active role in their healing journey by reconnecting them with their innate wisdom and authenticity to restore balance and harmony.
German MD Uwe Albrecht developed innerwise® in the late ’90s because he felt that existing medical systems no longer adequately respond to our time’s challenges. It’s now being used by many people professionally worldwide including medical doctors.
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology combines both Western science and traditional Chinese principles. It is a holistic, natural therapy system that uses gentle but powerful healing techniques to improve vitality and wellbeing and to restore the body’s energy flow (Qi).
A fundamental premise of kinesiology is that our body has innate self-healing abilities and is always trying to keep us healthy and energised.
Touch for Health Kinesiology uses muscle testing as a biofeedback mechanism to monitor, identify and correct imbalances and restrictions in the body. These imbalances and restrictions can be identified on the body’s structural, biochemical, emotional or energetic levels.
Imbalances are often not accessible to the conscious mind but are the real root cause of the interruption of the energy flow; hence, this is where healing needs to start.
Following the muscle testing assessment, corrections are made to encourage the body’s natural movement towards self-healing and balance.
Kinesiology has been consistently found to improve one’s sense of well-being and can help you to:
- release muscle tension
- improve energy levels
- improve self-esteem and confidence
- manage stress effectively
- stabilise mood and emotion
- relax jaw muscles
- improve and maintain overall health.
Touch for Health is the world’s oldest, and most widely practised form of kinesiology. It was founded by Dr John Thie in the early 1970’s.
If the approach and the tools I integrate resonate with you – and you feel ready to explore your patterns, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your balance, clarity, and vitality – we can schedule a complimentary 15-minute chat. It’s a friendly space to connect, ask questions, and sense whether working together feels aligned for both of us.
